Here Comes da Sun
One of the best parts of having a completely uncompromised view to the east, out to the Tasman Sea is that each morning you are presented with a flat, ocean horizon. The sun appears on cue prettily illuminating the distant clouds and voila .. a sunrise. I know it's sort of a garden variety sunrise but it breaks the monotony of watches, mountain landscapes, dereliction, wire and shiny things that this journal normally features, I suppose.
This is a good place and the weather is being terrific, so far. Incidentally it looks pretty rough seas out there. The horizon is not especially ruler flat after all.
