Mono Monday - The 'Link' is Love
There was a lot of linked hands today...it’s our 8th wedding anniversary and so we returned to Rose Crescent in the centre of Cambridge where M. proposed to me. It was an unplanned proposal and came about as a result of a jokey conversation we were having regarding my first name and his surname. Then, the proposal was made and once we had both got over the shock we realised that we were standing outside a jewellery shop...so guess where we brought my engagement and our wedding rings from?! Part of the service offered by Cellini is to clean and polish our rings free of charge every year for life...so the perfect excuse to revisit Cambridge on our special day. (See extra).
We also took advantage of the lovely weather and went out on a chauffeured punt on the river. A memorable day!
The quote below seems very apt during these troubled times:
If you are holding hands with others, you can't hold a gun! Allan Rufus
