Sardines.

My friends took me to the Pyrénées for the weekend!

I emptied my CF card and charged my battery specially, took my new lens for pictures of my friends and wildlife, and my old lens so I could take wide landscape shots of beautiful mountain scenery.

When we got there, after a 4 hour journey, I realised... I'd STUPIDLY left my battery in the charger at home.

How I cried inside.

A weekend in one of the most beautiful places in France and I had no camera.

So this is the only picture I have for today, taken with my trusty old phone - my friends' two dogs, who were squished next to me and my dog, surrounded by camping equipment, cool boxes, bags of food etc. Not the most comfortable journey(!) but definitely worth it for the destination.
