A garden wall or The London 2012 Olympic Village?
I have spent the last month having a one metre high wall built around my little front garden, the work involved demolishing an existing wall that my father had had built in the 1970s; it was actually falling down. Apart from paying for the privilege of persuading the builder to complete the job and persuading builders' suppliers to deliver materials as promised or the skip hire company to come and collect their skip; this small garden wall project seemed to escalate into a project to compare with the construction of the new Olympic Village being built for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Anyway, we have reached the "end-game" and here we see the garden gate being raised about three centimetres. Yes, the garden gate NOT the London Eye being constructed.
I'm happy to announce, "building work is complete!" I'll arrange a topping out ceremony in the New Year and will ask the Lord Mayor, M.P. and City Council to a Champagne Ceremony when I hope to get more brilliant blips!
