Birthday Girl

The Smallest woke me shortly before 7 to ask if it where Eldest was. I managed to fob him off and let her sleep until 8 but it was hard work! She opened presents in bed until 'C' arrived at the same time as my Sainsburys delivery!

Pancakes for breakfast as requested by the birthday girl then a relaxed morning. Eldest wanted a picnic made as she was meeting a gang of friends there to celebrate her birthday, we may have spied on her for a bit ;-)

Home after C was collected and a bit of admin (payroll - thrilling) then Toad in the Hole for tea and a quick turn around to drop Eldest off at The Poly to watch her friend in Spamalot. Never mind our planned Holby and Maltesers birthday night in. My Baby is getting far too independent far too quickly for my liking!

The miserable fizzog is because she apparently doesn't like birthday cake (so meringue, strawberries and ice cream instead) or candles. Killjoy.
