My big brave Caleb

Had a trip to the vet today to get the 2 oldies checked over. Caleb at 12 was deemed to be in need of a blood test to make sure it's ok for him to continue with the trial of Metacam and to check he'd be ok for an anaesthetic to have his teeth cleaned.
Poor boy had to endure the indignity of having a bit of his neck shaved to provide access to a vein..... and even then the poor vet needed 4 attempts.
Results were "excellent" though so worth it in the end. Even if he will have to endure the teeth cleaning soon.
10yr old Jacob was declared to be in excellent health despite a very mild heart murmur but he's miffed at having been taken to the vet in the first place.
