The Duck And Flower ....

Evidently it is #dragonflyweek. I went to Amwell Nature Reserve and walked the Dragonfly Trail in search of dragons. Quite a few damsels about but I saw only three dragonflies and none settled. :(

I was quite taken with this friendly young mallard and the wild clematis in flower gave this traveller joy. :)

I'm looking forward to the Georgia O'Keeffe programme this evening. I used to grow and sell Jimson Weed (Datura). Wish I had a specimen now to try to photograph in her style.
