Wood pigeon
Maybe not a glamorous bird, but I see them often at Blackford Pond, so reckon they deserve a blip.
The swan family still have six cygnets I'm glad to say, and there were signs of new baby birds too - the coots on the island have at least one, and the little grebes do too. And the moorhens up the tree on the island may have too - couldn't see any babies, but one of them was bringing things to the nest where the other was sitting. Moorhen young would be a first - we've never seen any at Blackford Pond.
