Cardinal stare down

Today I got out around lunch for a walk in the park. At this part of the day being a work day the park was quite quiet. I had the opportunity to feed the chickadees and nuthatches plus this cardinal. To get this close up the camera was held at ground level. I don't know if he was impressed.
