WIRED

A bit emotional today as it would have been C's birthday (click on last year's thumbnail for details). This time next week I'm going to Holland to stay with daughter #1 for a few days and I decided it's really time for me to do what I've promised for years and convert some family videos from the old analogue camera to DVD for the girls. Which of course means hearing C's voice narrating as he filmed them, and seeing him in the ones I took. I had to take a break and go out for chocolate cake, which is what we always did on his birthday. It's going to take a few days, several glasses of wine and lots of tissues, and even more when E and I watch them together next week.

It also seems to involve an awful lot of plugs and wires.
