String of pearls

This is a popular succulent from years back, the aptly named String of Pearls.  I've never ever seen it in flower before, and it was sitting on the counter at the local hardware store (I went to buy half a ton of soil, but that's another story).

As luck would have it (because I'm not usually that organised) I had the camera in the car, WITH the 60mm lens, so was able to take this closeup shot.

I didn't buy it, which I will probably regret, but I suppose I could always re-pot the sad little example I have in the back yard, and put it where it gets bit more sun.  Then I could get my very own flowers.
