Ceramic figures

This is a segment of a larger  exhibit featuring many characters - title: "The Insubstantial Pageant of Life" eg.
 some people will give you a 'leg up' and others will do the opposite and step on you on their way up, good fortune and misfortune happen, some folk are involved participants and others spectators .....etc.   I enjoyed making these figures and popped a couple into each kiln load as 'my thing' whilst supplying a shop with items. The white gloves are to accentuate the gesture.
