Three generations

The reason for our weekend in the UK was not to revisit some Cambridge pubs - an added bonus - but to attend a nephew's wedding. We rented a house via Airbnb for the night - an image is in the extra photos - before setting off to catch the tube to the wedding. Of course, the first time I've wanted to use the tube for three years and it was closed. "No worries sir, there is a bus." The bus duly arrives but of course no cash can be used and we only had oysters enough for two. Eventually contactless cards were suggested and found and our journey to the church carried on. Hot and clammy, wearing an inch thick felt morning suit was not ideal.
We got there and they were married and double deckers then arrived to whisk us off to the reception at the Hurlingham club.
As ever wedding provide a chance to catch up with various relatives and this image has the three generations of Tricia's family. Another extra photo features DS#2 and myself just before taking to the dance floor.
A late finish and a quiet chat in the garden - the quietness of which a neighbour vigourously and loudly herself disputed.
