Pond and meadow

It rained a little this morning, but now the sun is out again.  Couldn't resist another view of our pond and meadow.  

We cleared the blanket weed out a couple of days ago, and found a baby newt tangled up in it - and I saw another one this morning whilst standing on the bridge enjoying the peace.

And I just realised - I can contribute this to wildwed
