Bradley Wiggins

Yesterday, Bradley Wiggins won gold at the Time Trial. A week previously he won the Tour De France. Yet despite becoming GB and NI's most decorated Olympian yesterday, I am willing to bet that a few weeks ago, millions of people in this country had never heard of him.

How that has changed. Less than 24 hours after winning gold at London 2012, he has his own commemorative 1st class stamp being sold in Post Offices across the country. I picked these up at lunchtime in Glasgow.

Probably taking Robyn out round Townhill Loch on her bike tonight, so the Olympic theme on my blip journal continues for a fourth successive day!

Ps - there is also a stamp for our winning rowers yesterday and by lunchtime tomorrow, there will be even more after a few more golds today....and the day isn't over yet!
