University Parks: Stigmatic Droplet
Crisper and curvier in large.
Guess where... These (massive) lilies are looking (and smelling) rather ridiculous at the moment, and I liked the way that the fluid from the stigma was beading the stamen here.
I didn't put up many other photos, but I took close shots of dancing stamens and the blip droplet, and also photographed a halictid bee on a Japanese anemone, as well as a common green bottle fly on goldenrod.
