Hover fly on lilypad

A bitty morning.  KG was compiling his bowls team list for the winter season and as usual I was needed to clarify some details. I made a boiled fruit cake and we cut out another top - this one is going to be around the house one.  KG went to table tennis this afternoon I went into the garden for a quick blip but wasn't really inspired - hence a rather boring hover fly on a lily pad.  Was quite surprised how stripy it was.
After a wet start it turned out to be a nice day
