horse water
Horse sculptures are good. After scootling there from the car park it started to piss it down, so we went to the café for a bit before scootling back to the giant wooden playpark visible on the approach, followed by the fountain things where all small people got far more soaked than they would have been had we just stayed out in the rain. The playpark was quite good although it has the sort of segmented-metal-tube steep slide which Amos is still a bit small for, so I had to take him down a couple of times. The last time he evaded my grasp after I entered the top of the chute, so I had to quickly slide down then climb back up to collect him. He was fine climbing up the slippery wood using the same technique he currently prefers for getting into the bottom bunk where he goes up a couple of rungs then goes through the ladder. Edgar discovered firsthand why it's best to not go through puddles in case there's a deep hole hiding in them, which is particularly important with something with very small wheels, though he resumed scootling after theatrically limping a few yards.
