First Monarch Butterfly ...

As I was going out to the pool this afternoon I saw the first monarch butterfly of the summer flitting around back by the milkweed plants.  

I quickly went back for my camera and got a few shots of him/her.  (How do you tell the difference?)  None of my shots were great so I fartnarkled with this photo in Topaz Impression. 

As tomorrow is a special day for me I am catching up on my journal tonight.  Besides today's butterfly, I also posted my Tiny Tuesday shot.
