Tomatoes from the Isle of Wight

Yet another dentist visit in Dorchester and it was raining and foggy over the hills - no rain at home!  I have been meaning to snap these tomatoes for ages as they look so delicious there in the dry in the Tudor Arcade. On the right on the ground are bags of the well-known Moores Dorset Knobs. I ended up buying a heavy bag of cherries from the market stall in South Street.

The extra photograph is a wet view of the street called South Street, where the Mayor of Casterbridge lived  (his house is a little further down on the left and has a blue plaque). The bunting is advertising a Thomas Hardy Society event.
