Bracken

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my LRPS certificate.

(Now to play catch-up with blips from a few days away!)

Today we set off for parts foreign! The Mate arrived at ten with his Land Rover Dormobile, hitched up our caravan and we were away, over the border for the third time this month. We headed for a small Caravan Club site near New Galloway.

What a lovely site it was, too! Each of the 5 pitches was on its own terrace with a hard-standing, grass and a bird feeding station.

In the evening we had a wander down the farm lane between the bracken covered banks. So peaceful.

Unfortunately Ash, The Mate's dog is suffering badly from arthritis and the long sit in the car had left him almost unable to walk, collapsing often as his back legs gave way. Painkillers gave him a bit of relief and he moved easier later on. So sad to see him this way.
