Abstract Stone

In recognition of Abstract Thursday, here is an image in HDR plus other filters of a detail on a gravestone. I have been using more time than I should today for experimenting with the HDR effect.  I think the key thing is to choose the right subject and treat it accordingly rather than muck about too much.  I do like the abstract nature of just showing a part of an object though.

My mother is still in hospital and has been moved to a G ward (whatever that is) for further tests.  I will have to wait until my brother calls with more details and that may be after he has visited tonight.  What will be will be!
