Dryas octopetala

Today's the day ......................... to wash your hair

It's been raining here all day.

Not the usual Lake District stair-rod kind that soaks you in seconds.  More the persistent light drizzle sort that fools you into thinking you don't need a coat or umbrella - and you end up soaked anyway.  It makes my hair go curly - and it covers the garden with a billion droplets that hang from every plant.

This seed head of the alpine Dryas octopetala  had taken advantage of the rain for a full head wash and was looking particularly splendid.  The blow-dry will probably follow later  .................
