The Name of the Rose

This one is called Papa Meilland. It's the bush Igor uses to cut flowers from for my desk. Today we had a gardener come to clear the bed where the bush grows. He's cut down the bush to a mere stick. It was very old and had grown very straggly through lack of pruning. Now we wait to see if it survives. I thought I'd blip this just in case it's the last flower.
