Leaving port

A backblip as we have had a pretty hectic 24 hours and with very poor internet.

This shows us leaving Plymouth on the Armorique ferry to Roscoff.  I read an interesting article on the crossing that explained that Brittany Ferries had been set up in the 1960s by a group of French farmers who felt that Brittany was missing out on the UK tourism market.  They had some difficulty persuading the banks but what a good decision that proved to be.

No major holdups but the increased security was evident at Roscoff.  We stayed in a nice campsite just outside Roscoff that we have booked again on our way home.
