In the Gutter

These Thursday Abstracts are a real challenge, and none more so than today. One day, when I have time, I will try and learn something about all those apps which enable interesting processing of images. Until then .......

I have been office bound today, and very busy, so little time to think imaginatively outside of my work pressures (which involve my imagination quite a bit !).

So I have had to resort to The Gutter. YouOregon's theme for today is "The Appearance of Water". This summer, water keeps appearing - perhaps more frequently than we might wish. I had 10 minutes to go out and get a very late sandwich, and on my return took this pic of a puddle in the gutter, in the expectation that I might find something more interesting later on. No such luck !

It might be regarded as a really boring shot. And maybe it is. The saving grace for me is the lime tree seeds scattered around, and the reflection of the trees from whence they came in the puddle. It's boring, but with a dash of lime :) Whether it is sufficiently abstract ......
