19.00 to Edinburgh Waverley

On our way home - the worst part of the journey is over by the time we get to Kings Cross. Who booked a train that meant we had to battle through the rush-hour?

We've been child-entertaining while my daughter's partner and his family deal with a sudden bereavement.  A sad and stressful time, but not without positive aspects. We've got to know his Mum and sister much better and everyone has been very kind and supportive. Let's hope all goes smoothly for them.
