Outfoxed

Our 5-year old hen Freda is not looking too perky today. At least we can be happy in the knowledge that some beautiful little fox cubs won't be going hungry, and they'll be dining on some delicious slow-matured, free-range chicken. Quite jealous really...

And this after our lovely top-egg-laying Aylesbury duck Pig (partner of John) was similarly killed 19 days ago whilst we were distracted by that dreadful Euro final. At least in that instance we found the body and got to eat her ourselves!
