Flower Friday

The 'twist' for this week's Flower Friday is Game. I found a pack of cards with, appropriately, flowers on them from Devon. The two cards could be a hand from the game of pontoon, similar to BlackJack. Not a too bad starting hand with the possibility of drawing a high card next, preferrably nothing lower than nine, or a run of small value cards for a five hander.

Ann's family enjoyed card games, including pontoon. Every Christmas we would all sit around the dining table, a board covered snooker table, and play various hands for small change. Great memories.

The flowers featured are garaniums in our garden, as far as I know they have no connection to card games.
