Turning Gold

So more Gold for team GB today, shooting, paddling, and cycling, and more great efforts and stories from around the games. I only managed to catch the boys on their bikes today - the sheer power, speed and intensity of the team persuit had us all breathless.

I have to admit that blipping the last few days has been a bit of an effort, I've contemplated giving it miss even. Today I really dragged myself out between heavy rain showers as the sun set. There was a truly golden light, I just sat for 20mins took a few shots and remembered that one of the paybacks from blipping is seeing what I otherwise not have bothered to notice.
