Pleased to meet you
Went to Wandlebury Country Park today to meet a friend, Laura and her little boy Daniel.
The weather forecast had said rain, so we were expecting it, and it only came in the last few minutes when we were packing up the cars to go home! It ended up being gloriously sunny for most of the time we were there.
We had a picnic first. Elizabeth decided that she would rather eat Laura and Daniel's picnic than ours! Rebecca was looking rather wide-eyed at their food too.
After the children had had enough of the food, they chased each other up and down the grassy path. Rebecca even tried to follow. Until she found a tasty looking stone to eat.
We then went in search of a geocache (yes again). It was a little box with swappable items in it. Daniel took a keyring, but Elizabeth decided that she would rather have the balloon I brough for swapping than anything in the box.
Good day.
Other news:
Rebecca is finally drinking from a sippy cup. Hopefully this will make things easier at the childminder's. Because she wasn't taking a lot of milk, she was having very little fluids while she was there. I might even try some milk in the cup.
And she keeps trying to climb the stairs. She's managed a few steps, but she is very unsteady.
The cot has been lowered now too. Eep, she's growing up very, very fast!
