A late flower

I'm posting this very late because it was 89 degrees here today, much too hot to be outside in the sun photographing flowers.  When it finally dropped to 83, with the sun further down in the sky, I was able to shoot these lovely little florets that grow along the railings in my sister's front garden. I am impressed that they have survived this ghastly heat.  We are told that tomorrow will be cooler, but I for one will believe it when I see it!  Hope all of you are keeping cool or cozy, depending on where you are.
