It Must Be Love

I spotted these two snails this morning as I was taking the recycling out. They looked so serene together, it was lucky the blackbird hadn't taken a fancy to them, they were so tied up in what they were doing they would never have noticed him.

I guess it must be that time of year because further up the garden there was another pair at it. How do you tell a male snail from a female? I guess they know. I quietly left them to it (after taking a picture or two, surely photographic not pornographic?).

Later I went to Norton Lindsey to see a customer; then back for lunch and tennis; Andy Murray now through to the Semi-Finals and a possible medal.

Much later: watched the Murray/Robson mixed doubles. Now I normally think doubles tennis is a bit boring compared to the singles, but I have to admit that it was one on the most cracking games of tennis I've ever watched. Taking it right to the wire the GB pair won in the third set 'Match 10 point Tie Breaker'.

Looking forward to going to Cardiff on Saturday to see Team GB Football in the Quarter Finals.
