'We are what we do.'

A Very Welcome Sight!

The Chair - another of the Forest sculptures - signalled the end of the Beechenhurst Trail. Due to us getting lost taking a detour the 8 miles turned into 10 miles but was amazing, beautiful, tranquil and uplifting. Stunning views of different valleys and areas, steep hills, muddy tracks and revisiting favourite places made it a super 10 miles.

Three beautiful things:
Choosing a picnic bench at Cannop which was under the trees as this was when the heavens opened today. There was something quite magical about being outside, watching the pouring rain but not being affected by it! We had a super picnic lunch!

Just being in the middle of the forest, without a soul in sight for much of the trail, putting the world to rights with my friend.

The Ham, egg and chips pub meal at the end of the walk and day! Oh and the half pint of Guinness!

One thing to be grateful for:
C and I are such good friends that we don't take a little bit of (on both sides) personally especially when getting lost taking a detour!
