Old Water Tower, Sommerfeld/Brandenburg,

This is my entry for DS41 .It stands surrounded by trees by the Beetzsee.. To gaze up from  the base one is left wondering if a certain Rapunzel was ever made to live at the top , letting down her golden hair ... If so she is long since gone but the tower remains deserted and with windows , like dark eyes looking over the forest and over the water .Beauty in the middle of even more beauty no matter what the season .

Forgot to mention this tower is just over 102 years old .It was built to provide the 1st hospital here with water
(.In those days mainly for TB patients) ... The tower is under Denkmalschutz as are parts of the hospital ...
