Mr & Mrs P .....

..... with clothes on.

I've had a frustrating mainly unproductive day working at home today. I've another day working at home tomorrow, hopefully that will be more productive.

After I'd finished eating dinner this evening, I had a text from Mr P asking if I fancied going for a walk, as I hadn't left the house all day I said yes so that I could get some fresh air and a chance to take some photos.

Myself and the P's had a walk by the river and through the park. The sky this evening has been a wonderful golden coulour with a distant mist enhancing the light. I took a few photo's of the P's in the park against the lovely sky. Unlike yesterday's Buttock bellies photo, today they were back to back and fully dressed :-).

Mrs P and I had 99 ice creams from the riverside hotel, which we got just as it started raining ( theres nothing more British than eating ice creams in the rain ). The three of us walked back through town, past some lovely gardens ready for the Ilkley in bloom competition and then along the Grove which now has all its trees lit up in fairy lights for the summer festival.

We stopped off briefly at the Kings hall in town, where Bernie Clifton is performing tonight. I had a go at sneeking in to see if I could get a photo, but there were too many staff around. The final bit of the walk back home took us past the abattoir and the sound of a cow crying out on it's last night before meeting it's fate in the morning.

After a cop of tea and a chance to dry out at mine, the P's returned home. As I type this, a clip of Bernie Clifton appeared on a programme about talent shows on the telly ( spooky ). As I didn't get a shot of the half man half bird, today's blip is .....

The P's were chuffed that their bellies ended up on the spotlight page today ;-)
