A Blink of Sun

Today’s snap shows the house at the end of the Sower Road with the gloom-laden Hoy Hills providing the backdrop.

I took our French houseguests to the ferry in Stromness this morning.  Last night was enlivened by a shared drop of Entente Cordiale - we diluted it with a 15 yr old Glenlivet. 

We visited Iolene and Willie this afternoon and it was good to see that Willie has had his plaster cast removed. 

CMC is currently awash with gifts for her pending birthday.  I am not sure how pending pending is.  But I’ve always found pending a tricky simian concept.
