Common Blue at Portelet

Overcast today and feeling muggy at times. TheAphid has a friend round for gaming so this afternoon me and Rik left them to it and d went for a walk around the Portelet/ Noirmont headland. Straight away we saw lots of brown butterflies on the brambles and bushes, very fast and not as interesting as this beautiful common blue. Their were three of these with this vivid colour which makes me think they were newly hatched. They were fluttering amongst the grasses and really stood out amongst the sandy colours.
