This is Abuto, king of the pride of lions at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. He has three rambunctious offspring that have been chewing on his majestic mane, hence the frizz and the exhaustion.
He was let outside first this morning for some quiet time in the sun before the kids were allowed to join him.
