Big Diesel

Not wanting to waste yet another Saturday afternoon, I headed over to Oxenhope to see what photo opportunities might arise at the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway. 

Whilst parking, I spotted Polly dog, one of of Blipfoto's most famous canines, stroll across  the car park with her owners Midgehole Dave and Bezzie Pet in tow.

I introduced myself to the trio as we watched the young lady driver manouvre loco No 43924 down the tracks to the front of the carriages (see extra).

After a quick stop at the station buffet for coffee and cake I was in time to see 37 075 - one of the line's big’ diesels - pull into the station (main photograph)
