Sums it up

This photo really sums up our camping trip this year.  It was all about GIRLS!  and two groups of girls, at that.  We have the older girls on the left...the younger girls on the right.  They all would come together at times, but spent most of the trip segregated.  This is hard for Sugar as she adores her older cousin, and the other girls.  She wants to be with them, but is starting to understand that they are at different developmental stages, and it is natural to drift towards those who are more like yourself developmentally.  

We spent the morning packing up before it got hot.  Then we spent the last afternoon at the river.  Hard to imagine that it is over.  This is something we look forward to and plan for each year.  Sad to see it go...but we have fabulous memories to hold in our hearts.
