magnificent marigold

Other than a close in crop, this is right out of the can. This deep orange color is exactly what greeted me on my walk this morning. Like a drop of pure sunshine, maybe even uber solar power!
And it has been a great day - doctor's appointments went quickly, something on the to do list for over a month finally accomplished, and a leisurely visit with a friend. Now it is sprinkling a bit, just the right mood for a quiet evening.
