I went into town today (which I never do on a Saturday) and there was lots going on. First I stopped and watched the Peruvian chaps play their pan pipes, then watched some sort of film being made and then went to a Hare Krishna 'event'. It's not a religion I know anything about but it was really interesting to see. Lots of women were dressed in gorgeous saris, people were sat cross-legged while meditating, men were playing strange and exotic music on instruments I had never seen before. This blip was a sort of mobile shrine? where people were placing incense sticks and praying.
And best of all, they were giving away free food!
