Dancing in the rain

Today was National Dance Day and I was asked to photograph a dance group I'd worked with before. Their dance style emulates Isadora Duncan's and they were performing in one of DC's parks. Just as they were about to start, the skies opened up (DC's famous summertime storms) and we all had to take refuge under the big trees in the park as pictured here (yeah, I know: storms-trees; not a good combo).

The performance was delayed a bit until the worst of the storm passed but then went on -- in the rain and in the spirit of Duncan (see extra). All I could think was: are my lens and camera waterproof??? :)
