Three Chickens

These are my three chickens, named Borage, Daffodil, and Marigold. I used to have six chickens- when we did, I had a joke about them. Daffodil jumped up on the edge of her box and saw three chickens on the inside of the box, and three chickens on the outside of the box. What did she think? Answer: Where did the extra chicken come from? I stumped people with that, because they think 3+3 is 6, without counting Daffodil. But then, something killed my chickens... so now we have three. Borage is sweet and curious, Daffodil is proud and outgoing, and Marigold is... violent and shy. I love them all!
