The Jurassic Coast NE - painting by Steve Empson

My friend, Steve, the artist, emailed all his friends recently to say that he's about to take his paintings of the North East coast up to their rightful home and did we want to see the collection before they go.

It was my first outing in weeks and well worth the effort. The picture I've taken was stunning. I've put in my folio two others I particularly liked: this one at North Sands, Hartlepool; and this one The Strand at Port Mulgrave.

Maybe they'll make their way into the gallery at Staithes or Thirsk, I hope so, they deserve to be seen. More here.
