Wenlock Priory

A lovely visit to Wenlock Priory today with Chris and then a little mooch around the shops of this very picturesque town/village. I was pleasantly surprised by the Priory as the gardens are lovely and it's not just a load of old ruins. It was very peaceful, in lovely settings and a lot bigger than you think it's going to be. There are a lot of original carvings left and you can even see some of the old tiles on the floor. I got a little bored by the commentary that comes with the visit and I'm sure that if I'd had more patience then I'd have learned a lot more but it did go on a bit!
