Hoover's morning prayer...

"Give us this day our daily bread seeds..."

Dear Diary,

Little Hoover sat on the rim of the saucer, tiny paws on the rim of the cup, for the longest time.  Usually he jumps right in but not today.  Today he just sat.  I'm not sure why but he seemed quite comfortable there for about 5 minutes which is a really long time for a chippy to sit still.

I adore my little ones and feeding them each day is something I enjoy very much.  When I was away my garden helper came to water and to also feed the chipmunks.  Both were equally important to me.

I was hoping for a bit of rain today.  It is much cooler thankfully but it seems now the rain may be south of us.  Sigh...we desperately need rain.
