This morning Mum left early for the airport. Wearing her 'Union hat'. I sure don't like that hat and I don't like being left so long! Mum says this will soon be over. She KEEPS saying that. She also keeps saying that we are on vacation but it sure doesn't feel like it!

The GOOD news from later today is that we harvested our first tomatoes!! And this is them! Mum grew these from seed which is the first time she's ever done that! She planted a bunch of seeds but only got 4 plants and they took a LONG time to germinate so we didn't think we'd do very well with them but there are lots of tomatoes growing and these 3 were ready to pick! Yes, there are three there even though it looks like 2. Exciting!
