The Visit

The Shipley grandchildren's visit has passed off without mayhem. The threat of the four Edinburgh ones joining us was a leg pull, to which I responded in a way which appeared to have passed muster by saying, come, and hopefully the food will pan out, just like the parable of the loaves and fishes.

The two daughters present had a chance to chat without interruption, and the boys were happy to run about outside playing hide and seek before spending a considerable amount of time folding large sheets of paper and drawing Harry Potter Maps.
I kept His Lordship safely tucked away in his study with the papers and his lunch, although he came out at regular intervals to keep an eye on proceedings.

I tried to get a photo of the boys and their Mum, but I found it impossible. One or the other of them ( well not their mum) took it in turns to make a face.
In the end the blip is of Mum and younger son while the older one was well and truly hidden, but only until we shouted KitKat, when he came running!

Now that everyone has gone, the house seems very quiet!

Ralph's Harry potter map is the extra image - don't ask me what it all means
